My company is using PA to monitor multiple routers and they all have bandwidth monitor set to default values (obtained via auto configure command). By default PA is monitoring bandwidth on fastEthernet interfaces, and if speed is higher than threshold (8750000 in my case, default settings) for more than 5 minutes i get notification. Im not sure what speed is that, is it 8750000 bits or 8750000 bytes and im not able to find that in PA pdf file i have. Thanks in advance! Goran |

In summary i can see Mbps and i understand that, but my question is related to numbers that you can set in bandwidth monitor settings. Those numbers are 8750000 on fastethernet ports, 4900 on Dialer1 Interface by default, i want to know if those numbers represent bits or bytes. |

Hi Goran, The values that is being reported in the bandwidth monitor are Mbps (Megabits per second). If a graph is shown on your Server Summary report you will see the "Mbps" in the vertical axis.
