We have a couple of servers that are being monitored and when we me make changes servers and stop the services we don’t want PA to start the services automatically we just want the service to notify use something is wrong not restart the service. answered 16 Sep '14, 11:47 knnthc |
There are a few things that you can do... Maintenance Options - when making changes to servers you can put the monitors in to maintenance for a short time allowing you to finish the work without alerts being sent out. Event Escalation - you can also change when certain actions are fired. By editing the services monitor's actions and changing the time when the restart service action is fired you can control just that monitor. Advanced Monitor Options - another option would be to use adv. options to change when the monitor goes into alert. All of these can help you do what you need done.
