Hello, we have a Windows fileserver with a quota on drive E. The drive itself has 300GB physically space left. But the user only see the quota disc free space (20GB for example). When the users are used up the 20GB. The drive is full. But the Disc Space Monitor says that 280GB space is left because its monitoring the physically disc and not the quota size. Are there any Solutions for that issue? Mike asked 04 Aug '16, 08:10 mike2013 |
Hi Mike, There is a User Quota Monitor that will monitor the users quotas that you have setup for the drive. This monitor is only available in PA Storage Monitor. There was some new updates for this monitor so I would recommend get the latest version, please go to this page for the download. Hi Mike, We do have a Directory Quota Monitor that will monitor a directory and then alert when the space quota has been reached. This monitor is available in both the PA Server Monitor and the PA Storage Monitor, you can compare the products on this page. But that does not work because when I choose the drive E for example then the monitor shows me the subfolder quota settings. But I have the Quota on the drive E not at the sub folders. And the second thing is when I change the quota on the fileser I have also to Change the quota settings at the monitor? Any Ideas? Mike
