every now and then we get an error on one of the Service and/or Performance monitors stating it cannot monitor the server. error message ends with [err=0x6, CurrUser=pamonitor, Imp={none}] I think that's where the problem is because this server should be monitored with different credentials. the monitored server is not part of the domain, so alternative credentials are needed. After a couple of minutes the error disappears, and all monitors are green again. Hope to hear, Marc Punte Sysadmin Ster Netherlands. |

Yes, pamonitor is the general domain account but for this particular ( non-domain ) server I added different credentials. Most of the time this works just fine, but every hour or two the domain-account is used with a failure as a result. 3 or 4 cycles further pamonitor uses the impersonate credentials again and all is green again. |
