Half of my servers are showing the "server" logo instead of the windows logo. The ones with the server icon are unable to run any montiors with the below error when attempting to add them "Unable to get a list of services on OBBPRL1. This often means the current user doesn't have access to the remote computer. Service monitoring for this server cannot be configured at this time. OS reports: Access is denied. Troubleshooting Hint: Try logging into EIGPERFMON3 as adm_broesser. Then run SERVICES.MSC and try to connect to the remote server and view the service list to see if it succeeds. If it doesn't, you may need to start the Remote Registry service, or enable remote management rules in Windows Firewall. [Err=0x00000005 (5), CurrUser=adm_broesser, Imp={none}]" All servers are using the same credentials within PA Server admin and are local admins on all machines. What is wrong with my configuration? asked 14 Aug, 15:17 broesser |
Hi broesser, When you tried the Troubleshooting Hint what happened? Were you able to connect to the remote server and view the services running? Would you please send us the log files from your Central Service? Please open the Console and go to Settings -> System Settings and click on the FTP Logs to Support button. Then after those files have been sent, please send me an email to support@poweradmin.com. Also, in the email send me the name of two servers that you are having this issue with.
