Custom Performance monitor measures, but doesn't show chart

Viewed 0

We have a couple servers which we currently monitor with PA Server Monitor. I needed to add a Web service monitor to one of them. I successfully added, I can see the Alerts, in Recent Alerts, but not in Chart area. I waited hours, days, but it doesn't appear. I tried remove this Monitor, and added again, without success. What could be a problem? How can I solve it?

thanks

Hajos,

By default, newly added performance counters do not appear in the Charts section of the Server Status Report. If you want to add a new chart using the new counter, you will need to add one. Here is a link that will show you where to go to add your chart.

Hi Quinn,

thank you, I have added a new chart. It works now. How can I supress alerts from this monitor? Because I do not need alert, I just want to know how many connection in current time.

regards Ervin

Hajos,

In the monitor, open the performance counter you don't want to receive alerts for. There is an option on the popup menu that you can set to Do Not Alert.
