the alerts on my PA Server monitor doesn't forward to my remote syslog server. However, I am able to send a TEST syslog message. Please help

Do you have the Syslog Action (that you sent the test with) attached to monitors? Any monitor that has the Syslog action attached will then forward it's alerts via Syslog.
