We monitor a lot of Ubuntu Linux VMs in our environment. We've set the SNMP Monitors to use TCP, but how do we get the Disk Space monitors to use TCP or do they use the same settings? In other words, how can we force SNMP TCP for all of a server's monitors? |

Hi David, The option to have the Disk Space Monitor connect using TCP or to use the SNMP Global Default settings is not built into PA Server Monitor. Currently the Disk Space monitor uses UDP when using the SNMP connection. It's a good idea and we have added it to our To-Do list. It should be worked on in the upcoming week and then be ready for release to a preview build in about two weeks. Hi David, The latest build will now allow the Disk Space Monitor to use the Default SNMP Settings. So when you use the Disk Space Monitor for a Linux machine it will use SNMP to gather the data in the backgroud. If you have the global settings for SNMP monitors set to use TCP then the Disk Space will also use TCP. Make sure to get the latest preview build, v8.0.1.172 or newer.
