Hi All,

We are testing PA Server monitor and I am looking for how it monitors MS Exchange (DB size over time / Queue length etc).

Can I just not see it for looking or is there no application level monitoring in this ?

thanks

Steve

Steve,

I know that importing the template does take some time, how long did you wait?

If you stopped the import in the middle of it's configuration, yes it would be incomplete. Try the import again and if you run into issues after you stop the service zip up and send us your log files. support@poweradmin.com

Hi Steve,

I found in the documentation a How To section that has information on monitoring exchange servers.

Hi Tori,

thanks for the info, couldn't see it for looking.

Next problem....I have installed preview V5.1.0.56 because it fixes the issue of graphs not auto-scaling, however when I apply this template to our Exchange 2010 server entry, the PA Server Monitor application goes to "Not Responding" and I have to end the task (after several minutes). When I fire it back up again I find that all the entries have disappeared and I have to re-discover them all again !

Also, the console application is horribly slow.

this is a quad core 4GB ram HP DL server with 64-bit Server 2008R2 installed.

Steve.
