Hi Guys,

I am trying to graph the SNMP Monitor if my UPS - i.e. run time, Battery Temp, Output load. I can't get it to plot in the charts. Please help point out what I am doing wrong.

Cheers, Shaun

The one I have tried is for Battery Temperature: alt text

Here is the registry settings: alt text

Hi Shaun,

The Source Item Filter looks to find a match somewhere in text of the SNMP object name or in the alias text. In your Source Item Filter you have a "" before the text "Battery Temperature", try taking the slash out. I'm thinking that the service was looking for text and it couldn't find a match. then refresh your chart.

Thanks
Quinn

Hi Shaun,

In version 5.1 there is a new way to add charts to your Server Report. Here is a link to the to the Server Status Report page, go about half way down the page until you see Configuring Server Reports, start there. When you are entering your chart information on the Define Chart menu you can use your alias to identify your counter.

Thanks
Quinn

Hi Quinn,

Thanks for your response. I cannot attach a screenshot because I don't have karma. The graph is still not being displayed, but it is showing up as part of the displayed chart types in the left hand column.

Cheers
