Hi

I have inherited the monitoring of our works servers and no one can remember the logon password, is there any way I can get in to change it?

I can login as myself but have limited access and cannot access the admin parts.

Hi

Can you tell me how you are logging on? Are you on the server where PA Server Monitor is running or are you using the console to remote in from your desktop? Also, do you know if the Remote Access Control is set to use LDAP or Active Directory?

Thanks
Quinn

Hi Quinn

I logon on the server where PA Server Monitor is running and use the console on that. If I select to connect local for the server I cannot login as I don't have the password and it does not ask for a username. If I select remote and put the server IP in I can connect with my AD username, so its set to active Directory

Thanks

Leigh

Hi Leigh,

Ok if the password that they need to reset is for the console you can delete a registry key to remove that password. Then you can add another password when they open the console.
