According to the release notes, since v5.0.2.49, Execute Script can run VBScript, Javascript and PowerShell. In creating a new execute script action there is a pulldown for languages which only lists "vbscript" and "javascript". I am running the latest version (5.0.3.135) and have searched the online documentation and forums and can find no reference as to how to execute a powershell script.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Tim Jorgensen

Hi Tim,

The SSH scripting has not been implemented on the Action Script Monitor yet. However, it is on our to do list.

Thanks
Quinn

Hi Tim,

I think you are in the Execute Script Action not the Execute Script Monitor.

To add an Execute Script monitor to your server, right click the server and select Add New Monitor. In the menu select the Execute Script monitor. You will see the three languages in the drop-down.

Thanks
Quinn

If you can run an SSH script for monitor, why can an action not include an SSH script?
