Hi, I'm using PA File Sight. Whenever a new file or folder is created, it reports this as 2 actions: a create and a rename. I understand that that is truly what it is doing. However, is there a way to have the system report this as 1 action?

Thanks!

Hi Schmidt,

You are correct that both the create and rename actions are what the OS records when a new file is created. That is also how PA File Sight will also record and report them. At this time there is no setting that will allow the PAFS service to record them as one action.

The only other option would be not to watch for either the create event or the rename event, but that may not be what you need to have.

Thanks
Quinn
