Event Log Monitor - New Souces

Is there a way to have the Event Log Monitor automatically monitor event sources that didn't exist when the monitor was created?

If I install a new app or service that logs events to the Application Log the Event Log Monitor will happily ignore that new source because it wasn't on that machine originally.

0	While I don't disagree with that, I shouldn't have to. Mostly because there are many things in there that really don't matter. Having a check box that says "if you see something new, add it" would be useful. link answered 08 May '15, 11:15 J_Michael 11●5●8 accept rate: 11%
