When trying to test a sound wav monitor alert from the central console, it does not play. Does the WAV file need to be in a certain directory, or have certain permissions. Sound output is definitely working on the server using the Windows Test sounds etc

The sound file gets played by the Central Service, so you would need to make sure the server had speakers (which is often not the case). I don't believe sounds can be played from a VM (I might be wrong on that one).
