Hi

I am in the market for a simple but reliable server monitoring service. PA looks like it will tick most of my boxes but the most important thing I need to monitor is the server hardware. My servers are based at remote offices so I need to have alerts of failed disks or other hardware failures. They are mainly Dell/HP servers with the odd Fujitsu thrown in for good measure. Does PA offer this capability and is it straightforward to setup?

Thanks Rob

Hi RobCUK

Thank you for looking at PA Server Monitor. The Inventory Collector monitor collects many different items and one of them is the Hard Disk status, once collected you can alert on it. There are many other items that are collected by Inventory Collector monitor.

Another monitor that would be of help would be the Hardware Monitor. Depending on the type of servers that you have this monitor can collect many different items and alert of them.
