Hi,

We are looking into using PA Monitor to monitor live values from an industrial automation system.

Is there a PA Monitor Toolkit or API available for Third party development of server monitors?

Regards,

Jens

Hi Jeg,

Thank you for trying PA Server Monitor. We do a API tools that you can use and also there are Execute Script monitors and actions that you right your own code for. I hope that this helps.

Thanks
Quinn

Hi Quinn,

I have read the documentation for the API you are referring to, but I cannot see how this can be used to develop a custom server monitor. As I understand it, we have to implement new monitors with scripts. Correct me if I’m wrong

Hi Jens,

In your post you had asked about APIs that you could use and so I directed you to that information. You are correct that if you want to create a custom monitor that does specific monitoring for your environment you will then need to use the Execute Script Monitor and the Execute Script Action.

Thanks
Quinn
