Hey PA team,

I know this has been asked before but is there a walkthrough on how to add a monitor for printer toner levels. I see that an SNMP monitor will do that but how would that be set up? Does anyone know how to set that I up as I have not had much luck with it.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi Chris,

You are correct that you will need to use an SNMP Monitor to monitor the ink levels of your printer. You will first need to do some research to find out what your printer's OID are for each ink color. Then create a monitor for each ink level object. You should be able to do a google search to find those objects for your printer. The big issue is the each manufacture uses different OIDs for their ink levels. The monitoring process is the same but each printer uses different OIDs.
