PA Server Monitor Ultra, Version 5.4.0.154 Hosting OS: Windows 2008r2 VRam: 4gb vCPU: 1 Total number of end points monitored: 60 Licensed number of end points: 2000

Received about 40 failed monitors all with a similar error message:

23 Apr 2014 01:12:05 AM, "Computer: DatabaseServer [99.99.99.99]", "Monitor Title: Ping 99.99.99.99", "Description: 99.99.99.99 is not responding to ping requests within 3000 ms.  Received no response from 99.99.99.99  Error due to lack of resources.  [Err=0x2B02 (11010), CurrUser=MonitoringAcct, Imp={none}]"

Same cycle of errors repeated about 4 hours later. We've not seen "Error due to lack of resources" since deploying the product more than a year ago.

The server is single-function, dedicated to PA Monitor. Although VMware is in use, there is no thin provisioning. We observe CPU spikes at about 28%, memory usage is flat at 1.2gb. Disk is 55%/98% free on the system/non-system volumes.

Looking for cause of "lack of resources" with this error code.

Problem has not repeated after applying RC. We'll mark this as resolved and report if the same issue is repeated, referencing back to this item.

Hello,

we have this error too. "Error due to lack of resources" We get excessive mails with this errors. When is the final release to fix this problem.
