I use PA File Sight Ultra to monitor several windows file servers. One of them is Windows 2003 Server. Users' access to this server should be logged by PA File Sight. However, the source IPs are shown "N/A" in the logs if users were accessing files via file share. IP are logged as 127.0.0.1 if system administrator access the files on this machine. How do I correct this logging behavior? I need to log the source IP of users. Thanks! asked 27 Dec '14, 05:05 Lai |
Lai, PA File Sight can only display the source IP address if the server is Windows 2008 or newer. Previous to that, the OS did not make the IP address information available :( Thanks Please make sure to mark your questions accepted when you have your answer by clicking the gray check mark to the left of the answer. answered 29 Dec '14, 09:12 Quinn ♦♦ |
