Guys,

We're migrating our server from SQL 2008 to SQL 2016 and we have a PA 6.2 database there.. how can we migrate it to another server?

Thanks a lot!

I'd recommend using whatever procedure is suggested by SQL Server to move databases between them, and then go into Database Settings and point at the new database.

In the past I have disconnected a database from one server, moved the database files to the new server, and then attached those files to the new server. I've not done that with SQL 2016, and I'm not sure if you can move them directly from 2008 to 2016, but it was a very fast and easy way to move databases between servers when the servers are the same version.
