We have two satellite services listed in our FileSight console that do not have corresponding servers. When I go to "Adv Svcs" -> "Satellite Services" and right-click I select "Delete Satellite record..." yet the service never goes away. All the other options in the contextual menu are greyed-out except the delete one and "Satellite down notification...". Does anyone out there know how I can clear out these records? Thanks!

Hi Macbrun

While holding down the Ctrl button right-click on the Satellite in the Console and then choose the Delete Satellite record option and that should take care of it.

Thanks

Macbrun,

Is the Satellite still running on the remote server? If it is you should go ahead and uninstall it and then try the delete steps.

Thanks
Quinn

The servers no longer exist, yet the satellite record in the FileSight console DOES still exist. These are servers removed from service prior to when I received responsibility for FileSight.

Macbrun,

Would you be able to do a remote session and you can show me what you are trying to do? Please send me an email to support@poweradmin.com letting me know what time is good for you and a phone number to call you at.

Thanks
Quinn
